Tansen, situated in Palpa district of Nepal is a standout amongst the most well-known vacationer places in Nepal for sightseeing which has a rich history that goes back to sixteenth century. Srinagar Danda offers a panoramic view of the high Himalayas. One can view the Kanjiroba, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Mansiri, Ganesh and Langtang Mountain ranges from there in one sight. Tansen’s renowned palace of the provincial governor built in the Rana style, Tansen Durbar has an impressive run-down eastern gate called ‘Baggi Dhoka’ or ‘Mul Dhoka’. Outside the gate is a public square called ‘Sitalpati’. Built by, General Pratap Shamsher in 1927 AD., its main gate 'Baggi Dhoka' the biggest gate in the Kingdom. The ‘Durbar’ is known as a 'Singh Durbar of Palpa" has wooden carvings that showcases the skills of Newari craftsmanship. It now houses a museum with aesthetic arts of history.  Close by is the most established sanctuary around the local area, the two-layered pagoda style sanctuary of Bhimsen. Only two hours of walk away is Rani Mahal, royal residence worked by Khadga Shamsher JBR in 1894 AD., on landmark of profound love with his queen Tej Kumari. It is exceptionally pleasant royal residence with the design perspective. It is worked over a solitary gigantic stone close by Kaligandaki stream. Ranimahal is prevalently articulated as 'Tajmahal' of Nepal. Here, 'Siddapani cavern', 'Hattidhunga'- gigantic elephant molded stone, 'Baikunthapahar' - water falls, are en route structure Tansen.

Each August, a chariot parade of divinities is marched through the town with military respect to watch the noteworthy fight. Up of the side of Srinagar Hill, you can discover Siddhi Binayak Temple, the sanctuary of the God Ganesh. It is said that the artists who came to Tansen from Kathmandu to construct Amar Narayan Temple, likewise cut the figure of an elephant on a major stone. It was given the state of God Ganesh.

Tansen boasts its climate that is most pleasant throughout the year. In summer it stays mild and charming-hardly exceeds 28° degree Celsius. In winter it is quite warm and sunny -the temperature does not fall near freezing. Tansen has rich culture of hospitality to guests and welcomes all travelers to visit, enjoy their local cuisine and trek in the wonderful sites it has to offer.
